Do I need to change my existing phone number?

In most cases, no. We work with your existing business number, using call forwarding or by adding texting to your number, depending on your phone carrier. We'll confirm the best option for your setup during the demo.

Will Altero work with my current business software?

Often, yes. Many scheduling, invoicing and form tools can connect through standard integrations. We'll review what you use today and tell you plainly what connects and what doesn't before you sign up.

How long does setup take?

Configuration usually takes a few days. Business texting must also be registered with US carriers (called A2P 10DLC), and that approval can take one to three weeks. We handle the registration for you and keep you updated.

Can I customize the automated messages?

Yes. We write your messages with you so they sound like your business, and we can change them any time, including different messages for after hours.

Is there a contract?

Plans renew monthly, with a one‑time setup fee at signup. Any other terms will be stated clearly before you commit.

What happens if I cancel?

Your automations stop at the end of your billing period, and your business phone number stays yours. We can export your contacts and conversation history on request.

How much does the service cost?

Plans start at $99 a month plus a one‑time $149 setup fee. The Growth plan is $199 a month plus a $249 setup fee. See our pricing page for details. Additional SMS, phone, and third‑party usage charges may apply.

Will I need to learn new software?

Not much. Leads and replies come to your phone as texts and alerts. If you want more, there's a simple app and dashboard, and we'll walk you through it.
